In an evening session of the House of Delegates, members received and took up for immediate consideration six measures which the state Senate passed earlier in the afternnon. The bills were then read a first time and advanced to second reading.

During this afternoon's session, the House passed all six supplemental appropriation bills then appointed a committee of three to inform the Senate that the House has completed all business of the 2nd Extraordinary Session.

The Senate passed all six bills introduced earlier this afternoon during their evening floor session. They suspended the constitutional rule requiring that the bills be read on three separate days, advancing them to second and third reading before passing them.

In its late morning floor session the Senate passed three bills and read six bills a first time. The passed bills include Senate Bill 1009 which provides tax deduction for trust funds for children with autism, and two supplemental bills. Senate Bill 1014 is a supplemental appropriation for flood recovery and Senate Bill 1015 makes a supplemental appropriation from the Excess Lottery Revenue Fund to Public Defender Services.
