	KC Detailing: Auto Detailing Kansas City, KS 25HR Job 1 of 2 This Kansas City auto detailing client of ours had us perform a 25 hour detail on his car. Even though the car only had 3500 miles on it, the car had a lot of micro-scratches and swirls. An extensive auto detailing was absolutely needed. The auto detailing project started out on a Saturday morning with four people from the KC Detailing team. A thorough hand wash and detail was performed to prepare the car for a compound and polish. Once the car was cleaned, the team quickly got to work taping all of the plastic and edges. This was done so that none of the plastics would get burned or stained by the buffers during the car detailing project. After getting the car taped and ready to buff, the crew pulled the car into the garage. Product and pad combination testing began. This Mercedes paint was extremely hard and the crew was having a very hard time finding the miracle combo. After lots of combinations, the proper pads and compounds were discovered. With the perfect pad and compound combo ready, the crew quickly got to work detailing and polishing the car. The three machines you see in the video include a rotary polisher, Cyclo Polisher and a single head dual action polisher. The day was long and hard but the car was looking really good. After the compound was finished, the car was taken outside to get another hand wash before the polishing step. 	Auto Detailing - Carpet Extraction w/ Bissell LGM Carpet extraction is the way to go when deep cleaning carpets and upholstery. This video isn't intended for actual professionals that make money detailing. This is how the average hobby detailer can save time and get better results with extraction. The Bissell LGM will not emulsify dirt like they say it will or like big professional extractors do. But when compared to wiping up with a rag, there's no comparison. I use the LGM to rinse the carpets rather than "clean" them. Let the chemicals do their job. Notice how much junk is in the stain that ends up being spread all over the place. This car is a real piece of work. It's MY CAR! I just bought it for a commuter and it was absolutely disgusting. I am not endorsing any products, but want to show hobby/at-home detailers how they can clean LIKE professionals. If you're wondering, I used 3D APC diluted 10:1, Folex and of course the Bissell Little Green ProHeat. I don't put any chemical the water that the LGM sprays out. The LGM is not a great cleaning extractor, it should only be considered a rinsing extractor. It does not heat the water hot enough and it does not blast the water at a high enough pressure to actually do anything. If you use the right detailing chemicals, there's no need for the average hobby detailer to buy a $1000 extractor. 	KC Detailing: Kansas City Auto Detailing 25hr job 2 of 2 Our Kansas City auto detailing client originally had us perform a 25 hour car detail for his Mercedes SL550. If you haven't seen that video, watch it before you view this one. When we first performed the detail on his car, it looked absolutely breath taking. So the car looked amazing, the detail was over the top and the car shined like crazy. The question is, how would it look after nine months? That is what we wanted to find out. Nine months had passed since the team performed the 25 hour auto detailing project on his car. It was time to make a follow up video. This time, the crew just performed a basic wash. The goal was to see how easily the car cleaned up and if it looked freshly detailed after we did. There was no surprise on our side but it was still pleasant to see the reward of our auto detailing labor. The car cleaned up extremely well and still looked like it had just been waxed. The mirror reflection in this video can not be denied. The car looked like a car detailing had just been performed. Because of the two year coatings anti-static characteristics, brake dust and dirt washed off the car with ease. All that the car needed was a good quick hand wash. After drying the car, it looked like it did after the first auto detailing project. Since the original testing of this product, our Kansas City auto detailing clients have been asking us to perform this on their cars more and more.
